Use Connected Medical Devices

During the telemedicine video call, professional users have the ability to use connected medical devices to enhance the examination capabilities for the virtual provider. At the top left of your video call page, you will see the following buttons:

Each of these buttons indicates a particular medical device and its connection status.

To use a medical device:

1. In your telemedicine kit or cart, turn on the switch corresponding to the device you want to use.
2. The corresponding device will be detected by the CureCompanion application and the audio or video input will automatically be changed to the device.
3. For example, when you turn on the exam camera switch, the CureCompanion application will detect it and switch to it automatically.
4. When the device switch is turned off in the telemedicine kit or cart, the input device will automatically change to the default camera/microphone.
