Creating a New Instant Visit

Step 1: Sign In

Sign in to your CureCompanion professional account.

Upon logging in, you will automatically be directed to the new visit page.

Step 2: Camera/Microphone Selection

On the new visit page, you will see a preview of your camera and microphone. You can change your selected camera and microphone as follows:

1. Camera: Select your preferred camera from the dropdown list.
2. Microphone: Select your preferred microphone from the dropdown list.
3. Medical Device Connectivity: View connection status of exam camera, otoscope, and stethoscope.

Step 3: Select or Create Patient (optional)

You can start a visit with or without assigning a patient:

Option A: Select existing patient or create new patient

1. Click the patient selection button
   
   
2. Search for and select the patient from the modal dialog, or create a new patient.
   
   
3. Patient will be linked to the visit.
   
   

Option B: Create visit without assigning a patient

1. Proceed without selecting a patient
2. A placeholder patient record will be created automatically
3. You can upgrade to full patient data during or after the visit

Step 4: Select Provider (optional)

Provider assignment is also optional in the instant visit workflow:

Option A: Select Provider

1. Click the provider selection button
   
   
2. Choose from available providers
   
   
3. Provider will be assigned to the visit
   
   

Option B: Proceed Without Provider

1. Start the visit without provider assignment

Step 5: Create and Join Visit

Once device selection and preview is complete and any optional selections are made:

1. Click the “Create and Join Visit” button.
   
2. You will be redirected to the video call page.
