What is in the starter telemedicine kit
A compact case of the three exam devices our customers use most, plus the audio and video accessories to run a visit on a computer you already own.
Handheld exam camera
Examine skin, throat, eyes, and more in HD video. The camera streams live in the visit, so the provider sees what the nurse sees.
Digital otoscope
Firefly Global video otoscope. Examine the inner ear in HD video, streamed live to the provider during the visit.
Digital stethoscope
Riester digital stethoscope with a full 20 to 2,000 Hz auscultation range, powered over USB with no batteries or buttons. The provider hears heart and lung sounds live.
Audio and video equipment
HD webcam and a conference speaker and microphone, so the room is seen and heard clearly from any computer.
Accessories
A 4-port USB hub and a USB audio adapter connect the devices to your computer.
Durable hard case
12-inch hard case with pre-diced foam that holds every device in place. The whole kit weighs about 5 lbs.
Use your own devices: the starter kit works with standard computers, laptops, and mobile devices.
Runs on the CureCompanion telehealth platform
Our software platform works with the telemedicine starter kit to enable true virtual examination and assessment.
The CureCompanion software provides easy-to-use telehealth workflows that require minimal staff training and are modeled after in-person visits. AI documentation and post-visit assessments are available on the platform.
Encrypted, HIPAA-compliant video visits on web, iOS, and Android.
Device switching with automatic detection: activate the exam camera, otoscope, or stethoscope and it streams to the provider.
Patient records, visit notes, and progress notes in one place.
Security and compliance
HIPAA compliant with a Business Associate Agreement: AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.2+ in transit, access controls, and audit logging.

What do we need to provide?
A computer, laptop, or mobile device and an internet connection. Plan on about 1 Mbps per video visit, with 4 to 5 Mbps recommended. The devices connect over USB.
Starter kit or telemedicine kit: which should we choose?
Choose the starter kit when you already have computers in the exam room and need the core exam devices. Choose the telemedicine kit when the visit moves between sites or you need vitals, a 12-lead ECG, and spirometry integrated in one portable case.
How do we get the starter kit?
